2010 4Runner

The 2010 4Runner is an SUV manufactured by Toyota and sold throughout the world from 1984 to the present. The original 4Runner was a compact SUV and little more than a Toyota pickup truck with a fiberglass shell over the bed, but the model has since undergone significant independent development into a cross between a mid-size and a full-size SUV. The Toyota 4Runner is a mid-size SUV that comes with everyday driving comfort, refinement and safety.

The 2010 4Runner is lightly larger overall than the prior generation, but with the same wheelbase. Because the A-pillar has been moved forward slightly, the new 4Runner has a slightly more upright appearance. Redesigned for 2010, the 4Runner still stays to the original Tundra design. With great capability, the 4Runner offers a Trail model that provides off-road features including the locking rear differential, four-wheel drive, and the Multi-Terrain select, as well as Crawl Control.

2010 Toyota 4Runner Interior

The 2010 Toyota 4Runner is redesigned with freshened styling, more V6 power, and a new 4-cylinder engine. This midsize SUV uses traditional truck-type construction. The new 4 Runner 2010 comes in three distinct models, each with specialized equipment packages, to suit a variety of luxury, recreational capability, and affordability priorities. All are sturdily built, with an extensive suite of safety features, flexible seating, and multiple cargo options. The 2010 4runner is built on the same platform as the rugged Toyota FJ Cruiser and is longer, wider, and taller than its predecessor. Trim levels are available in SR5 (black 4Runner, above and top), Trail, and Limited (blue, second from the top), each equally satisfying in their own rights.

The 2010 Toyota 4Runner is a midsize SUV that is offered in three trim levels: SR5, Trail and Limited. The SR5 comes with 17-inch alloy wheels, black fender flares and rocker panels, skid plates, foglights, air-conditioning (with rear ventilation), cruise control, full power accessories with a power rear window, a tilt-and-telescoping steering wheel, a trip computer and a CD/MP3 audio system with an auxiliary audio jack. The 2010 4Runner is available in an all-new “Trail Edition” package which features traction control, locking rear differential, Bilstein shock absorbers, 17″ alloy wheels, waterproof seat fabric and a detachable TomTom personal navigation system.

The 2010 4Runner has more power than any previous 4Runner, and that includes the previous generation with the optional V8. Base engine for the 2010 Toyota 4Runner 4×2 models is a 2.7-liter 4-cylinder unit, producing 157 horsepower. It is mated to a 4-speed automatic transmission. Power and fuel efficiency combined with new off-road technologies make the new 4Runner a true workhorse. Powering the new 4 Runner in 2010 is a new engine package that features a 4L V6 that makes 270 hp. That’s 34 hp more than the previous generation and this new engine also offers a 5% improvement in fuel economy.

The 2010 4Runner now offers the new Safety Connect telematics system. In case of either airbag deployment or severe rear-end collision Automatic Collision Notification is designed to automatically call a response center. Vehicle Stability Control, traction control, and four-wheel anti-lock brakes with electronic brake force distribution keep the vehicle steady on highways and byways. Vehicle Stability Control (VSC) helps to ensure stability by compensating for oversteer or understeer. The system uses selective braking and modulated engine output to keep the vehicle in line with the driver’s intended course.

The 2010  Toyota 4Runner is available with a starting price of $27500.00 but can reach prices of $39800.00 based on various packages, options, and your trim selection.
