Renault officially unveiled the production version of the global pickup Alaskan. At first, the novelty will be available in the South American market, and then gets to the African and European countries.
Pickup, ground clearance of which was 230 millimeters, will be available with a double and a single cabin. Tractive effort of novelties was 3.5 tons.
Renault Alaskan is equipped with a 2.3-liter twin-turbo diesel, developing 160 and 190 horsepower. Depending on the market the model will also be offered with the petrol unit of volume of 2.5 liters capacity of 160 forces, which would be an alternative engine of similar volume on “heavy fuel”, an outstanding 160 or 190 forces. Transmission – six-step “mechanics” or seven-step “automatic”.
Pick-up will be available with rear-wheel and all-wheel drive. For an additional fee you can order a rear limited-slip differential with electronic control or mechanical independent block.
Among the available options: a multimedia complex with a seven-inch display, a navigation, system of circular view, dual-zone climate control and heated front seats.
